With so many wonderful attractions in Houston, how are you going to pick where to go? It might not be easy to choose which places to visit, but it’s going to be fun. I’m going to try and help you out by highlighting four of the popular places of interest to check out. We’re going to start with an old air terminal museum and work our way from there.
An old air terminal museum sounds really unique right? The 1940 Air Terminal Museum is the place, and its address is 8325 Travelair Street. What you’re visiting is the original airport terminal in H-Town. How cool is that? There are all kinds of artifacts in there, and people have great things to say about stopping by. Enjoy the art deco architecture, and you’re also right by Hobby Airport.
How about Theatre Under The Stars? It sounds like a neat place to visit, right? You’re going to be at Hermann Park, and you’re going to have a chance to catch an outdoor Broadway show. The address is 800 Bagby Street, and the seating is said to be optimal no matter where you are. If you are driving, people say that parking garage is right there, providing you with easy access to the Theatre Under The Stars.
Lone Star Flight Museum is another really cool places to visit, and its address is 11551 Aerospace Avenue. You’re going to be inside an enormous aircraft hangar, and you’re going to see all kinds of great photographs and aircraft that has been restored. The photographs are historic, and the flight academy gallery is interactive.
Art Car Museum is a great place to visit, and it’s all about contemporary art. The address is 140 Heights Boulevard, and people say it’s a lot of fun checking out all the creative projects. It’s free to enter this museum, and reviews say it doesn’t take a ton of time either. Museums that are fun but quick to explore can make for nice stops, especially if you have the kids who won’t want to spend hours in a museum.
